چکیده
The Japanese art films of the mid-1960s, also known as the so-called Japanese New Wave, are often praised by film scholars, but its formal elements and common characteristics are not often discussed. Thus, through the use of directors representative of the period, such as Hani Susumu, Matsumoto Toshio, Oshima Nagisa, and Teshigahara Hiroshi, this talk analyzes the features of outstanding examples of mid-1960s film, focusing especially on Avant-Garde, Documentary, and Allegory as common characteristics.
